Brenden Aaronson: I want to stay at Leeds and become a legend

Brenden Aaronson stated that he aspires to become a legend at Leeds United due to his impressive start with the club.

After a successful summer transfer from

RB Salzburg

, Aaronson quickly became a fan favorite for

Leeds

.

His quick-thinking and decisiveness led to a victory over

Chelsea

, largely thanks to his team's ability to capitalize on an error by

Edouard Mendy

. There is now a song about him set to the tune of "American Boy" by Estelle.

When asked about the positive response from the fans,

Brenden Aaronson

 replied,

"They see how much I work and how much I'm willing to work for the team. I'll always give 110 percent and I think that they like that. That's the kind of team we have. So that's also amazing to see."

"I'm really grateful to be at Leeds, and I think that everybody can see that I'm willing to work 110 percent and give everything I can to help the team win. I just want to keep getting better and better and become the best I can be and, hopefully, be a legend for the club at some point."

After a stellar start to his time with Leeds, former Philadelphia Union star Brenden Aaronson has been called up to play in the United States men's national team's final two international matches before the World Cup, scheduled to take place against Japan and Saudi Arabia.

Aaronson will return to Leeds for their encounter against

Aston Villa

on October 2 after playing in two friendlies. Games against Nottingham Forest and Manchester United were postponed on September 3 owing to the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and the club hasn't played since.
