France dealt injury blow as Lloris and Hernandez withdraw

France have been dealt another injury blow as captain Hugo Lloris and defender Theo Hernandez are set to miss out on the upcoming games with their national team.

for their battle against Austria and Denmark in the Nations League. France have to deal with missing some of the crucial players ahead of their Nations League games, with Paul Pogba, N'Golo Kante, Karim Benzema, Lucas Hernandez and Kingsley Coman are out of action.

Now they also have to deal with missing Theo Hernandez and Hugo Lloris as the two have been injured. Adrien Rabiot also had to withdraw from the team last week and Didier Deschamps has to make his side ready for their clash against Austria on Thursday and Denmark three days later without having some of his key players available.

’s Theo Hernandez are struggling with thigh and groin problems, respectively.

Nantes goalkeeper Alban Lafont has been called up to be the replacement of captain Lloris, whereas Aston Villa’s Lucas Digne is going to be included as Hernandez’s replacement.

In their first four matches in Group A1, France drew two games and lost two. They are trying their best to avoid relegation from the top tier.
