Former Barcelona star joins Al Arabi SC
The former star of Barca, Inter and PSG finally made her way to the Qatar Stars League.
The 29-year-old midfielder played only 5 games for Paris Saint-Germain last season and finally went on loan to
Real Sociedadin the winter. He got more time at La Real, making 17 La Liga appearances and scoring once as his side finished fifth in the league. However, the Brazilian midfielder did not find a place in Christophe Gaultier's squad after returning to France, and Renato Sanchez, Vitina, Carlos Soler and Fabian Ruiz were signed by PSG.
With the World Cup soon to begin in Qatar, Rafinha left for Doha and joined Al Arabi on a two-year deal. Al Arabi is the leader of the Qatar Star League and has recorded 4 wins and 1 defeat in the first 5 games.
