Nathan Ake denied any panic after Liverpool defeat

The Dutch defender believes that despite the defeat, there is nothing to worry about for his team.

After

Manchester City

's defeat against

Liverpool

in the Community Shield yesterday,

Nathan Ake

claimed that Manchester City should find their rhythm, but there is no concern about this defeat.

Yesterday, Liverpool and City met each other in the city of Leicester, and the Reds took the lead at the beginning with Trent Alexander-Arnold's goal, which was scored by a deflection off Ake. With 20 minutes left in the game, Julian Alvarez was able to tie the game, but then Mohamed Salah scored his team's second goal from the penalty spot, and Darwin Nunez scored the third goal in stoppage time.

Liverpool deserved to win this match with their better performance, but Ake claimed that there will be no worries for City.

He said:

"Everyone worked hard. It’s still very, very early in the season.

"It’s now about the next few weeks, getting our rhythm and then start to go. I think it was two very good teams so it’s always going to be tough."

"It’s difficult for us to take. I think there were periods where we played well and periods where they were better. After the 2-1 it became difficult.

"After 2-1 it was difficult to come back. They were solid defensively and it’s a difficult game to take."
