Germany Women to face England in Euros 2022 final
Germany will play England in the Euro 2022 final after they defeated France.

France2-1 thanks to a double from captain Alexandra Popp to reach the Euro 2022 final. Popp put Germany ahead in the 40th minute with a volley but France equalized just four minutes later with Merle Frohms's own goal.
France was the better side in the second half and twice went close to taking the lead but goalkeeper Frohms saved Selma Bacha's shot and Wendie Renard's header.
Alexandra Popp scored the winning goal for Germany in the 76th minute. Popp now has scored in the fifth Women's European Championship match in a row which is a new record.

Englandin the Euro 2022 final at Wembley on Sunday. England reached the Euro 2022 final with a 4-0 win over
Sweden on Tuesday night.
Popp and England's Beth Mead both scored six goals in this tournament and are joint-top scorers.
