Jadon Sancho explains how Ten Hag is changing Man Utd's dressing room

The England winger had a disappointing first season with the Red Devils, but he thinks things will get better at Old Trafford.

Jadon Sancho

hopes to escape being written off as a £73 million flop during his second season at

Manchester United

. In 2021, the Red Devils spent a lot of money on him, but he only scored five goals and had three assists in 38 games.

He has scored three goals in four preseason games and believes he and United have more to offer as they begin a new chapter under

Erik ten Hag

. Sancho says he's thrilled about the upcoming season with new management and how he wants to play. He's also focused on the World Cup finals in

Qatar

.

"I think it'll help me. All the lads have taken on board what he's saying during preseason training. We're creating more opportunities, keeping the ball, and playing well. Last year, I got an ear infection and missed United's preseason, which was annoying."

"They lacked fitness and game knowledge. I feel much more comfortable this season, and scoring in preseason gave me a confidence boost I intend to carry into the regular season."

"We have the same guys this preseason, but it looks like a new club, and I think that's something we're working on. The management encourages team-building, enjoyment, and team dinners. So, it's helpful."
