PSG, about what will happen with young striker
Gianluca Scamacca.
The 23-year-old did well while on loan with
Genoa
in 2020/21, but he stepped up his game last year, scoring 16 goals in 36 games for Sassuolo and earning a spot in Roberto Mancini's Italy team.
Several clubs have said that they want to sign Scamacca this summer. Arsenal is ready to make a move for the striker, and Paris Saint-Germain has also been said to be interested in Scamacca.
There has even been talk of a bid from the Ligue 1 champions, and Carnevali has now admitted that he has talked with PSG about a possible deal.
"Luis Campos is my friend, and we met at the Champions League final, "he said to Sky Sport Italia. "We talked about a few players, but Scamacca was one of them."I think a lot of teams want the player."
Carnevali didn't name any other clubs, but reports say that most of Serie A's top teams are interested in Scamacca. AC Milan and Napoli are both said to be getting ready to make offers for the 23-year-old.
