Christensen: I will announce my next club soon
Andreas Christensen says he will announce his next club in the near future.
last week announced he will leave
Chelseaafter his contract expires at the end of June.
Christensen has been linked with
Barcelonain recent months and it is expected he will join the Catalan club.
Christensen after Denmark's 2-0 Nations League win over Austria on Monday talked about his future.
"I know where I have to play. Unfortunately, it's not entirely up to me. There are also other things that need to fall into place.
"Hopefully soon. But I have known what I was going to do for a while. I'm just waiting for the right time.”
Former Chelsea defender says Barca is a team that any player would like to play for them.
"It is one of the biggest clubs in Europe, I think it is for everyone.
"Whether they have had their problems or not, it is still one of the biggest clubs for a player to get to."
Christensen joined Chelsea from Brondby in 2012 and played in 161 games for the Blues. He won the Europa League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup at Stamford Bridge.
