Oscar Mingueza is almost certain to leave Barcelona

Oscar Mingueza linked with two clubs as Barcelona exit all but assured.

Mundo Deportivo

says that

Oscar Mingueza

is likely to leave

Barcelona

this summer, even though he still has a year left on his contract at Camp Nou.

The center-back has already been told by

Xavi Hernandez

that there is no room for him on the first-team roster for next season, and it seems almost certain that he will be moving on. The most likely places are

Valencia

, Spain, and Hoffenheim,

Germany

.

Barcelona wants at least €5 million for the young player. Mingueza, who is 23 years old, was born and raised in the Catalan town of Santa Perpetua de Mogoda. He has played all of his senior games for Barcelona. He joined the team for the first time in November 2020, when Ronald Koeman was the coach. Since then, he has played 66 times.

Mingueza has scored two goals and set up five more for the team he grew up with. But since Xavi took over, he hasn't had as many chances. The best thing is to move.
