Real Madrid signed Antonio Rudiger on a four-year deal

The German defender left Chelsea for the Champions of Europe.

Real Madrid have announced the signing of Antonio Rudiger on a four-year deal from Chelsea.

Antonio Rudiger, a 29-year-old German player,'s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of June, and he has now agreed a free transfer to Real Madrid. Rudiger made his last game for Chelsea against Watford a few weeks ago and officially announced his departure from the London Blues with a warm chase from the club's fans.

Chelsea seemed keen to extend Antonio Rudiger's contract and retain the valuable defender, but the club's difficult economic situation ultimately prevented this from happening and the German Chelsea defender headed to London after four brilliant seasons. Real Madrid also signed David Alaba for free last summer, and now the same thing has happened to Antonio Rudiger.

The introduction ceremony will take place in three weeks at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the presence of Real Madrid fans. After failing to sign Kylian Mbappe.
