AC Milan wins Serie A title after 11 years

AC Milan clinched the Serie A title for the first time in 11 years on the final day of the league season on Sunday.

Stefano Pioli's side beat Sassuolo with a double from Olivier Giroud and one from Franck Kessie to win the Scudetto.

wins the title with 86 points, two ahead of rivals Inter to seal their first league title since 2011.

Giroud gives Milan the lead in the 17th minute. Leao gets in the penalty area before cutting it back to Giroud. The striker takes his shot on the swivel and manages to squeak it underneath the keeper.

Giroud scored his second goal in the 32nd minute. Leao beats his men while driving to the byline and passes it towards the penalty spot for Giroud, whose simple finish beats the keeper.

Just 4 minutes later, Kessie score the third goal for Milan in his last match. He latches onto Leao's cutback pass and hits a powerful effort.
