Nedved: Moise Kean should score the same goals for Juventus as Ronaldo

Juventus director Pavel Nedved insists Moise Kean can provide the goals they lost with Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit

Juventus

director

Pavel Nedved

believes

Moise Kean

can replace

Cristiano Ronaldo

's goals, and he believes Scudetto play-offs will better the product in the future.

Kean begins this evening alongside

Dusan Vlahovic

and

Paulo Dybala

, despite the fact that his traits and tactical function have never been fully developed. The vice-president objected when told that Juve cannot expect Kean to score the goals they lost when Ronaldo left for Manchester United.

“I might not ask Kean for 35 goals like Ronaldo, but he should be able to give 25, as he has enormous potential,” Nedved told Sky Sport Italia. If we put him near the opposition's goal, he can score goals." I put a lot of pressure on him, and we expect all of our forwards to score more goals next season since that's where we've been weak in our finishing."

Will Juve be completely focused this evening against a desperate Genoa, given that they have the Coppa Italia Final against Inter on May 11 and are already secured a spot in the Champions League for next season?

"We must constantly maintain a professional demeanor, perform our duties, and not play games. Nobody can doubt that our minds will be on Wednesday after tonight." Nedved was also questioned about the talks with Mattia De Sciglio and Federico Bernardeschi, whose contracts expire on June 30.

"We worked on all the contracts that were about to expire, so there could be news shortly."  Because the top four teams have already been decided, there have been suggestions that Serie A implements Scudetto play-offs to add excitement to the competition.

"The time has come to rekindle people's passion for football and attract 20-year-old fans, such as my children." We want to lure them to the stadium and to achieve so we have to improve the product on offer.”
