Marcos Alonso, a Chelsea defender, is the most recent addition to the list. According to Sport, he has been added to a list that already includes Celta Vigo's Javi Galan and Benfica's
Alejandro Grimaldo
, a former La Masia left-back.
Alonso, who is 31 years old, is a short-term option, although he has played regularly this season, appearing in 41 games. With only a year left on his contract this summer, the possibility of signing him at a discount would make the operation much more appealing.
