Rudiger's agent called Real Madrid amid Juventus' keen interest

Antonio Rudiger's representative is said to have phoned Real Madrid to pitch the Chelsea defender's services, as well as expose his pay demands.

Rudiger's agreement at

Chelsea

ends in the summer, and the Blues are unable to re-sign him until the club's change of ownership. Because of the penalties placed by the British government on Roman Abramovich, the

Premier League

heavyweights are unable to reach a new arrangement with the Germany international.

According to Marca, the player's representative has phoned Real Madrid and informed the La Liga giants that the 29-year-old is open to a summer move to the Santiago Bernabeu, but wants a four-year agreement for €55 million, including salary and signing incentives.

Rudiger's agency spoke with Barcelona executives a few weeks ago, but Real Madrid is yet to make a move on his possible signing. Rudiger's transfer to Juventus was claimed to be completed in February by La Gazzetta dello Sport, but there has been no additional confirmation of the defender's relocation to Turin.

The

Serie A

powerhouse may require a successor for Giorgio Chiellini if the Italy international hangs up his boots or moves to the

MLS

at the conclusion of the season, thus the ex-Roma player remains an objective.
