Morata's future at Juventus in doubt after Arsenal's offer

The Spanish striker is about to leave Turin.

Italian media have claimed that

Alvaro Morata

intends to stay at

Juventus

, but

Arsenal

want to make a € 30 million offer for him.

Morata's loan spell at Juventus expires in the summer, and Juventus have no plans to activate a € 35 million deal to make his transfer permanent. The old lady paid 20 million euros for his temporary transfer in 2020 and does not intend to spend another 15 million euros for him.

Italian media have now claimed that Arsenal have made a € 30 million bid for Atletico to sign Morata in the summer. Given that Morata's contract expires in 2023, this amount could satisfy Atletico.

The 29-year-old striker plans to stay in Turin but knows his future at the club is not up to him. Juventus intend to negotiate with Atletico to be satisfied with the sale of Morata for a smaller figure, but according to Arsenal's offer, Atletico is in no hurry to reach an agreement.

It remains to be seen whether the Spanish striker will be happy to return to the Premier League, where he once wore the Chelsea shirt and scored 24 goals in 72 games between 2017 and 2019.
