'We want to win everything,' Alisson says ahead of a busy schedule

Liverpool are on target to win four trophies this season, but Alisson admits it will be difficult.

Alisson, the

Liverpool

goalkeeper, has stated that he and his teammates "want to win everything" as they prepare for a hectic month that might see them complete an unprecedented quadruple.

The Reds have already won the EFL Cup and are one point behind

Manchester City

in the Premier League title battle, with the

Champions League

and FA Cup still to come. Should Liverpool reach the finals of both competitions, they will have 13 more games to play between now and the end of May, but

Alisson

is certain the team will be able to handle the demanding schedule.

The Brazilian goalkeeper was asked about the physical difficulties of competing in so many events during a press conference before of the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Benfica, a contest in which they led 3-1.

"We need to be prepared for that at this level, and we are," he said. "We have a fantastic fitness team, and we exercise every day to achieve our goals. We have goals for all of the finals, all of the games, and as many games as we can play throughout the season. We want to win it all, therefore we're prepared for it. Of course, it's not simple, and we all become exhausted at times, but you must convince yourself that you have enough stamina to face any task."

Alisson has played 41 games in all competitions for Liverpool this season, keeping 22 clean sheets, and praised the players in front of him. "As a goalie, it's critical to have a good defense. In front of me are some of the best players in the world. No matter who is on the field, they are always giving it their all, therefore I am thrilled to be a part of this group "Added he.

Prior to Wednesday's second leg at Anfield, the former Roma goalkeeper acknowledged Benfica's strength. Alisson said, "It was a tough game." "They have quick strikers and a powerful striker in the number nine position [Darwin Nunez]. Everton is someone I'm familiar with from Brazil; I know his qualities and how good he is.

"They assigned us a lot of work, but we are ready to confront them, ready and prepared to face that match in order to achieve our objectives."
