Manchester City sign with River Plate’s Alvarez
City have closed the deal with River Plate’s Julian Alvarez, who has been impressing since last season.
Julian Alvarez
is among the top prospects in South American football after pulling off an impressive 2021 season for
River Plate, finding the back of the net 24 times and contributing 15 assists in 46 games across all competitions.
The Argentina international has been heavily linked with a move away from South America, with his contract due to expire in December 2022.

, the 21-year-old has sealed a deal with
Manchester Citybut he will remain put at River Plate for the remainder of the season on a loan contract.
