Atletico Madrid boss praises the English defender, Kieran Trippier

Trippier, who played a key role in Atletico’s La Liga triumph in 2021, made 86 appearances for the Colchoneros in all competitions.
Reflecting on the right-back’s departure, Atletico manager Diego Simeone said:
"I always look at the positives.
"I'm absolutely grateful for the time Kieran has been here with us. The club gave him 48 hours to resolve the situation. He's behaved very well and been very important for us."
The Argentine coach also confirmed that the club will be looking for Trippier’s replacement.
He added:
"We look ahead to what is next, and seek out alternatives.
"The club knows exactly what we need and are after.
"We are always in common agreement, but if not then we will continue with the players we have."
