Atletico's Angel Correa signs a renewal amid Premier League interests
Atletico Madrid have revealed a new contract extension for one of their important players.
Angel Correa
has accepted a new contract renewal with Los Rojiblancos, extending his spell at the club for more than six years.
Correa has now made 214 LaLiga games, netting 39 goals, and he has been compensated with fresh terms following a brace in Atletico Madrid's win against Rayo Vallecano on the weekend.
Atletico Madrid confirmed today that Correa has signed a contract extension that would keep him at the Wanda Metropolitano until 2026.
Correa hasn't always been a starter, but he's been more than helpful this season, finding the net seven times in all tournaments.
According to
Fabrizio Romano, his form has piqued the curiosity of English clubs during this transfer window, but he has no desire to leave Atleti.
The new deal confirms this, and he will be hoping to maintain his excellent form and assist Atletico Madrid to return to the top of the
LaLigatable.
