Alisson, Firmino & Joel Matip set to miss Chelsea clash due to COVID19

Due to suspected positive Coronavirus tests, Alisson, Roberto Firmino, and Joel Matip have been pulled out of Liverpool's roster for the Premier League game against Chelsea.

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp will also miss out Sunday's game against Chelsea due to a positive COVID-19 test. The rest of the squad's test results have all come back negative.

Caoimhin Kelleher, 23, will cover for Alisson in goal and make his second

Premier League

start of the season.

Ibrahima Konate replaces Matip at center-back, where he began in Liverpool's 1-0 loss to Leicester in the league last time out, alongside Virgil van Dijk.

Liverpool's frontline remains unchanged in Firmino's absence, with Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah, and Sadio Mane all starting. Since the Reds' 2-2 home draw with Brighton on October 30, the Brazilian international has not started a league match for the club.

Moreover,

Trent Alexander-Arnold

becomes the fourth-youngest Liverpool player to achieve 200 appearances against the Blues.

Besides that,

Fabinho

, who plays in midfield with Jordan Henderson and James Milner, will make his 100th Premier League outing on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
