Dybala close to sign new Juventus deal

The Argentinian star is set to pen a new long-term deal with the Bianconeri.

Paulo Dybala and his agents have been in negotiations with Juventus over a new deal for the past couple of months. The Argentinian, who has spent the last six years at Allianz Stadium, is set to extend his contract in the coming days.

According to

Gazzetta

, a deal worth up to €10m per season is close to being finalized. Juventus are set to sign a 5-year contract with Dybala, further emphasizing his central role in the Italian giant’s squad.

A crucial player in Juventus’ title-winning campaigns between 2015 and 2019, Dybala was overshadowed by Cristiano Ronaldo once the Portuguese star moved to the club. He scored only five goals in his 30 appearances for Juventus in the 2018-19 season, generating serious doubts around his future at the Allianz Stadium. The situation is expected to change with the departure of Ronaldo in the summer transfer window.

The news of the contract extension will delight Massimiliano Allegri, who has shaped Juve’s line-up around the Argentine star this season.
