Raul Jimenez scored his first goal after 11 month

The Mexican star was sidelined for 11 months due to injury.

Wolverhampton striker Raul Jimenez scored his first goal of the season against Southampton to lead his side to victory.

Last November, the Mexican striker suffered a fractured skull, which kept him out of action until this month. He scored his first goal in 11 months after 61 minutes on the pitch. Now Jimenez has expressed hope that he can continue to score in all games.

He said:

"I want to score every game, I knew the goal was coming, I was fighting for it, working for it and all the team deserve it.

"I was thinking 'When will the goal come?' It felt really good. Four of our five games have been incredible, we need to keep going like this. We did a really good job.

"The fans are always with us, supporting. It is really important for our team to have them supporting and shouting."
