AC Milan injury update: Zlatan & Giroud back on track

The Milan injury crisis seems to be coming to an end.

AC Milan

defender Simon Kjaer has not suffered a serious muscle injury and AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud has started running and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to individual training.

In recent weeks, Milan have suffered injuries to a number of important and influential players, including Rade Kronic,

Tiemoue Bakayoko

, Junior Messias and Davide Calabria. Calabria suffered a hamstring injury in his right leg, which caused him to miss his side's 1-1 draw with Juventus.

Messias will likely undergo a special recovery plan, and Bakayoko will undergo medical tests next week. The condition of Kronic, who was injured in the Bosnian national team, is similar, but he is recovering.

Kjaer suffered an injury in the match against Juventus yesterday and has to rest for a few days to recover, but medical tests showed that his injury was not muscular. Ibrahimovic is also back on the field and will soon be able to accompany his team.
