Eight Brazilian players to miss PL fourth week

Brazilian stars may be banned from accompanying their team to the Premier League for a match

Before the start of the new round of 2022 World Cup qualifiers, Premier League teams made a controversial decision and stated that they will not allow their players to play in red-list countries, one of the most important of which is Brazil. The issue that caused the Brazilian coach, Tite, to make many changes in his squad list.

But this is not the end of the story, because it seems that the Brazilian Football Federation is not idle at all in this regard and somehow intends to take revenge on the Premier League clubs. According to Goal, the Brazilian Football Federation has written a letter to FIFA requesting a five-day ban on players whose clubs did not allow them to attend the international duty.

If that happens and FIFA fines them five days, several stars will miss the fourth week of the Premier League.

Liverpool

, meanwhile, will suffer the most because they will not have three of their key players, Alisson Becker, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino, in Sunday's game if the Brazilian players are suspended for five days.

Ederson and Gabriel Jesus of

Manchester City

, Fred of Manchester United, Thiago Silva of Chelsea and Rafinha of Leeds United will also miss the fourth week of the Premier League if FIFA agrees to the five-day ban. It is noteworthy that the Brazilian Football Federation has not applied for the suspension of Everton star Richarlison, as the club had previously worked with them when they allow Richarlison to take part in the Tokyo Olympics.
