Tuchel discusses Lukaku ahead of a potential summer move

The Belgian is reportedly eager to prove himself at Stamford Bridge after the club sold him in 2014, but he has found his form during the two seasons at San Siro. In the last two seasons, the 28-year-old met the back of the net 64 times and contributed 16 assists at Inter.

Earlier it’s been reported

that Inter wanted to retain Romelu Lukaku’s services as they rejected Chelsea’s €100m plus Marcos Alonso offer and if the Blues make another bid close to €130m, they might reach an agreement.

Tuchel remained coy when he was stormed about the rumors on his Tuesday post-Tottenham match conference.

“I won't talk about players who are not in my squad. Romelu Lukaku is a fantastic player, he is not in my squad he is in Inter. Everyone wants to join my squad. I can imagine a lot of players want to come and join,” the Blues boss explained.

“We talk to the board about players, have our own opinions, and in the end we target players who in our opinion could make our squad strong, which is quite a challenge.

“There are some players of which we think they can be a good target and improvement in our squad. I will not comment on names as I don't like it when other coaches speak about my players. So hopefully you understand that.”

As per reports from Sky Sport Italia

, the Belgium international has told Inter that he would like to make a move to Chelsea, so now the club should ask for the maximum fee.
