Lozano’s condition is stable, Napoli said after winger’s head injury

The Mexico international’s condition is ‘stable’ after he suffered an injury to the head in his side’s Golden Cup battle against Trinidad & Tobago.

Hirving Lozano

was hospitalized after the incident with opponents’ shot-stopper. He received immediate treatment on the field and was taken to the hospital with a neck brace. Although he looked motionless at first, he then started moving his arms.

The Mexico National team gave an update and reassured that Lozano is ‘stable and conscious,’ and he also said that ‘he will be medically examined.’

Napoli

have also released a statement revealing that the 25-year-old’s conditions ‘do not cause concern.’

Lozano is going to have magnetic resonance imaging and the club’s doctor Raffaele Canonico ‘is in constant contact with the Mexican medical staff to receive updates on the condition of the Azzurri striker.’
