Mauro Icardi close to Milan

There are rumors that the Argentine star of PSG intends to return to Serie A and has been offered to Milan, but Roma and Juventus are other clubs that plan to sign him.

The former Inter striker went to League One on loan in 2018, and after a good performance in his first season in France, the Parisian club made his contract permanent by paying 57 million euros.

The 28-year-old Icardi has made 26 appearances this season, scoring 12 goals, and according to Calciomercato.com, he no longer intends to stay in Paris Saint-Germain and is interested in returning to Italy.

Wanda Nara, the agent and his wife, are said to have pressured Icardi to return to Milan, and intermediaries have offered the striker to Milan.

Milan are looking for a new striker as Zlatan Ibrahimovic picked a knee injury, and it is not clear whether he will be fully available to the club next season.

Icardi’s €9m-a-year wage may be an obstacle for Milan, but the Rossoneri could sign him if PSG are open to selling the striker on loan paying part of his salary.

The report also states that Juventus and Roma are also monitoring Icardi to strengthen their squad.
