Pochettino gives injury update on Navas

The PSG boss says the goalkeeper has been subbed off as a "precaution".

PSG

won their Ligue 1 clash against

Strasbourg

with a 4-1 result on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino

’s team continue their race for the league title as they are three points behind

Lille

at the top of the table. Having won the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against

Bayern Munich

with a 3-2 result, the Parisians are preparing themselves to face the German giants in the second leg on Tuesday. However,

Keylor Navas

’ substitution at the end of the first half generated worries over his potential injury.

Pochettino told his post-match press conference:

"He came off as a precaution. We have a large medical team, with great professionals, so we will see. We hope that there is nothing serious."

Asked about

Kylian Mbappe

’s performance against Strasbourg, Pochettino responded:

"The best thing for Kylian to be ready is to play. If he senses that something is wrong, he will be the first to say it.

"We're pros and we have medical staff, and that was the best decision for the team. People can say whatever they want. Everyone has their truth.

"You can't make everyone happy. When he is on the pitch, he is happy."
