"Sassuolo decided to protect the squad" - De Zerbi
Sassuolo coach, Roberto De Zerbi revealed that his team "made the right decision" to leave Manuel Locatelli and Gian Marco Ferrari out following the COVID-19 outbreak in the Italy squad.
Both Italy internationals will not perform in the match against Roma tomorrow.
“The decision to oust Locatelli and Ferrari was a shared choice between me, the club and the medical staff,”
De Zerbi mentioned at a press conference.
