West Ham's Michail Antonio considers representing Jamaica

According to recent reports, the London born star has been approached by the Jamaican Football Federation to represent them at international level.

Recent reports reveal that

West Ham

’s

Michail Antonio

has been approached by the Jamaican Football Federation to convince him into representing their country at international level.

The 30-year-old, who has been previously called up to

England

International squad, is yet to make his first official appearance for the national team and considering the upcoming the Gold Cup matches in July and the CONCACAF qualifiers in September, joining

Jamaica

seems like an appealing option to him.

Since David Moyes’ return to West Ham, Antonio has been able to score 15 goals in 33 matches.

Back in 2016 the Jamaican Football Federation also talked to Antonio about joining Jamaica’s squad given the fact that he’s a London born player to Jamaican parents.
