Barton responds to Jadon Sancho speaking with German accent
Barton compared Sancho's recent interview to his previous interview in a French dialect.
Former England international Joey Barton has reacted to a recent interview with Jadon Sancho in which he speaks with German accent.
The
Borussia Dortmundstar spoke to Norwegian media with Erling Haaland after his side's 4-0 win over Schalke. Earlier, Barton spoke in an interview with a French accent that received a lot of attention. Now the former Fleet Town manager has reacted to the interview of the young Dortmund star.
He wrote on
Twitter:
"Don’t worry Sancho. Happens to the best of us..."
and added crying with laughter emojis.
Sancho, who scored the first goal of the game yesterday and sent an assist to Haaland, said in the press conferance:
“I know for this club that this game is everything,”
“So I knew today that was a big one for the fans. Especially because they can’t celebrate it with us, I had to show to the camera that it was very important to us.
“I’m just very happy and delighted for the win. We just have to carry on this form for the next game.”
