Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Liam Shaw to join Celtic in summer
Sheffield Wednesday’s academy product Liam Shaw has reached a pre-contract agreement with Celtic.
will be receiving around £300,000 as a compensation figure.
Shaw
joined the Owls when he was eight and he made his first-team debut last season in July.
He signed his first professional contract in December 2018, which will expire in the summer.
He has made 15 appearances for his boyhood club this season, scoring once, and has operated mostly in midfield but can also play in central defense.
It looks set to be a summer of rebuilding at
Celticwith the club 18 points behind rivals Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
