Zidane lifted the team with his pre-match press conference

The match against Huesca was a life and death game for Zidane and his squad.

and they rightly did. Although the performance was not brilliant,  the three points were what actually mattered and Los Blancos completed the mission successfully.

Now the French boss, Zidane can relax a bit as his team defended him after showing his anger in the pre-match press conference. Real Madrid went to face Huesca as they are struggling with the high number of injured players that they have. They had a squad of 17 players and just 14 outfielders. Real went one goal down but they came back to the game and scored two to secure all three points.

It was the first time that they had a comeback and collect the three points from the losing position as they had so far managed to rescue draw against Borussia Monchengladbach and Villarreal from the same position.
