Valencia and Sevilla interested in Lucas Torreira

Valencia and Sevilla have joined Italian teams in the competition for Arsenal midfielder, Lucas Torreira.

As well as Serie A teams Lazio, Fiorentina, and Torino have all questioned his availability, with the player out of favor at his current team.

Torreira

moved in Atletico

Madrid on loan this season but has found match time in Atletico’s midfield rare to come by, with coach Diego Simeone selecting other players.

The Uruguayan has a playing time of only 420 minutes across 13 matches this season, scoring a goal and providing an assist for the team currently leading La Liga.

Torreira

started his profession with local team 18 de Julio before a short time in Montevideo Wanderers, signing in Italian team Pescara in 2013. He’s made most of his senior matches for Sampdoria, whom he represented before moving to Arsenal in 2018.
