"It is a strange season" - Mkhitaryan

Henrikh Mkhitaryan thinks Roma are "getting better game after game" and won’t hide a Scudetto push. "It is a strange season."

Roma

reached their third back-to-back Serie A victory, defeating 10-man Torino 3-1, and took Juve in third place.

“We are getting better game after game,”

the Armenian said.

“We knew it would be tough tonight, but we prepared well and deserved the victory. Admittedly, we let go a bit in the last 10-15 minutes, because Torino were a man down and we thought we could just sit back and play on the counter.

“They created some problems for us, so we need to study our mistakes and learn not to repeat them.”

Roma also began to put some players off the game to rest them before this weekend’s showdown with Atalanta.

“Now we have a couple of days to analyse Atalanta and prepare something for them. It won’t be easy, but then no games are.”

Roma

are now standing third with Juventus and only four points off leaders Milan, but

Mkhitaryan

puts aside questions about the title race.

“We still have a lot of games to play and it’s too early to say if we could be Scudetto contenders. It is a strange season and all the teams are pretty close together up there, but it’s still early.”
