Ndombele: ‘We all want to go to the Euros’

Tanguy Ndombele has begun this season impressively and now is focused on getting a spot in France to play in the rescheduled EURO 2020

Tanguy Ndombele

has had his eyes on the rescheduled

Euro 2020

since he started to play impressively for

Tottenham

this season.

Tottenham spent £64million before last season to move him, but his injuries and poor form led to a disappointing debut in the Premier League campaign.

Not getting game time has led some people to think that Mourinho wants to move Ndombele. But Ndombele started this season impressively and has played in all of the nine top-flight games and even started seven of them. He has a goal and an assist, created seven chances for teammates, won 29 duels, and completed 23 recoveries.

Now that Ndombele has pleased Mourinho, he is now focused on getting a spot to represent France in Euro 2020.

"I'm trying to do the best possible. I am still learning. We all want to go to the Euros. We will give ourselves the means to go there," he said.

"I agree with the fact of gaining in [consistency]. There are some very good players in my position.

"But I do not admit defeat and we will see at the end.”

Tottenham have only been defeated once which was their opening game against Everton.
