Yamal Plans to Skip School if Spain Wins Euros

Young Barcelona Star Prefers Celebrating Championship Victory Over Returning to School

Lamine Yamal, the 16-year-old sensation from Barcelona, has rapidly established himself as one of the world's best wingers in his first senior season for the Blaugrana. His impressive form earned him a call-up to the Spanish national team for the Euros, where he became the youngest-ever player to participate in the tournament.

Yamal, who is still a student, revealed that his school had assigned him homework and assignments for the duration of the European Championship in Germany. In an interview with Cope, Yamal disclosed that if

Spain

were to become the European Champions, he would not return to school this summer.

"I won't come back, I'll go directly on vacation," Yamal stated. "I guess they will send me my grades online because it depends on how far we go in the Euro Cup, which I hope will be very far away."

Despite the pressures of being the youngest player in the tournament's history, Yamal remains unfazed. "Does it scare me? No, in the end, it's one more piece of information. It doesn't scare me, I play the same," he said confidently.

Yamal will be back in action on June 24 when Spain faces Albania. If Spain reaches the final, Yamal will extend his holiday, preferring to celebrate the championship victory over returning to his studies immediately.
