The Brazilian star shined at Leeds United and attracted a lot of attention, to the point where Leeds United sold him to Barcelona for three times the amount they bought him for. Marcelo Bielsa was leading him at Leeds United and now the Brazilian star, who played 9 games for Selecao and scored 3 goals, praised the Argentinian coach.

He said:

“He is a manager who helped me a lot from the first moment I arrived at Leeds. He always demands more, he always demands the maximum performance. Asked about Bielsa's differences, Raphinha said:

However, the Brazilian hasn't found any similarities between Xavi and Bielsa. He added: 

“They are different, Marcelo has a unique way of working. It is the ‘Marcelo Bielsa style’, let’s call it that. Every manager is different. Equally everyone has a different way of living their life, every player and every manager is different in their work.”
