Patrick Bamford suffers another injury setback

Leeds striker has sustained a new foot injury.

, who has made only six Premier League appearances for

Leeds

this season, has been out of action for a while due to ankle and hip injuries.

The striker, whose last appearance for Leeds was in the Peacocks’ December 2-2 home draw against

Brentford

, has now sustained a new foot injury, according to the club’s coach Marcelo Bielsa.

"(Adam) Forshaw and (Junior) Firpo have muscular injuries and Bamford has a new injury,”

Bielsa said.

"He has overcome his muscular issues, but now he has an issue at the bottom of his foot."

The Spanish defender Diego Llorente, however, has recovered has can accompany Leeds in Saturday’s clash against Newcastle.

When asked who else could return to action in near future, Bielsa said:

"Llorente and probably Tyler Roberts and (Joe) Gelhardt.

"We maintain the presence of Rodrigo, who played 30 minutes last week."
