Napoli defender Kostas Manolas signs for Olympiacos

Napoli have confirmed Kostas Manolas has joined Olympiacos for a reported fee of €3m plus bonuses.

The former

Roma

defender has been in Greece since yesterday for 'personal reasons,' but reports claim that he underwent medicals with

Olympiacos

this morning.

According to reports carried by Sportitalia transfer expert

Alfredo Pedullà

, the 30-year-old defender has reached an agreement over a return to Olympiacos for a fee of €2m plus €1m in bonuses.

The Italian club had requested the defender to stay until the Christmas break to make this move, but he has made his decision to return to his homeland.

The 30-year-old was signed from Roma in 2019 for €36 million, but he failed to justify his price tag under
