Dalot hoping to join Milan amid transfer talks

The Portugal international is eager to sign an extension and stay at Milan, according to Italian reports; however, Manchester United do not agree.

Diogo Dalot

played for

Milan

on a loan deal last season, featuring in 33 matches and meeting the target twice with three assists.

The 22-year-old can perform as a right-back and a left-back and coach

Stefano Pioli

has praised his versatility.

As per reports from

La Gazzetta dello Sport

, the Portuguese is keen on going back to San Siro and he is not accepting other offers, hoping the two parties can reach an agreement.

The Rossoneri have offered a new loan contract that includes an option to buy when the season ends, ready to pay €3.5m for the extra one year.

However, the Red Devils would rather sell the player and claim €20m. Dalot joined United in 2018 from FC Porto on a €22m transfer fee. He has two senior caps for Portugal, having featured for his country in the youth levels.
