Chelsea and Manchester United on red alert for Lucas Vazquez
Although Zinedine Zidane, a big fan of Vazquez, asked Real Madrid to hand the 29-year-old a new three-year deal, the Spanish giants asked Vazquez to accept a 10 percent pay cut as the coronavirus pandemic has harmed Madrid’s finances.
In the final year of his current contract, the Spaniard has reportedly decided to turn down the Los Blancos’ offer. As reported by
ABC, Vazquez is keen to experience a new challenge that could be offered by Chelsea, Manchester United, AC Milan, or Bayern Munich.
Vazquez, who has won two La Liga titles and three Champions Leagues during his time at Madrid, will be a great boost for the mentioned English clubs as they want to add trophy-winning experience to the squads ahead of potential Premier League title challenges next season.
