Crawley boss can't wait for Bournemouth game as he seeks revenge

John Yems claims that people who are running Bournemouth are not football people and that they have betrayed him.

Crawley

had a surprise victory over

Leeds United

at the third round of the FA Cup and they will have to face

Bournemouth

at the next round. John Yems, Crawley Town’s manager had the experience of coaching Bournemouth and it seems like he has not forgotten his horrible experience there.

He claims that people in there betrayed him instead of supporting him through his depression and he seeks revenge in the FA Cup clash.

“It’s a funny thing, depression,”

Yems said. “It just creeps up on you, when the phone stops.

“It’s the trust issue, being let down by people that you trust. You can stand many things in this world, but unfortunately you do have to trust people – and when people dump on you from a great height, it’s very hard to take.

“It was betrayal, you go from the first division into the Premier League and then you get made redundant for no reason.

“It goes to show that certain people there are very unscrupulous and very untrustworthy.”

He claims that he has no problem with Tindall who is currently managing Bournemouth but says that the people who are running the club are clueless.

“It’s a different club to the one I left, it was more enjoyable when I was there and we were building,”

said Yems, who has had coaching roles at Fulham and Millwall.

“The Bournemouth I left when Eddie was there – and I’ve spoken to Eddie since – is not the same.

“People running the club are not football people. They were playing off the back of people who have the football success, but money becomes involved and then it’s their success.

“It’s such a shame because it was a friendly football club. It’s nice to go back there, there’ll be a few people glad to see the back of me as I can’t wait to see the back of them.”
