Joaquin shows why he’s Betico’s legend once more

After receiving a positive Covid result hours before the Seville derby, the Betis’ captain was forced to self-isolate himself for two weeks but came back to show off his abilities once more against Sociedad.

Joaquin

came off the bench on the 75

th

minute against

Real

Sociedad

as his side were 2-0 down. However, soon as he stepped on the pitch, the 39-year-old showed what he can do by providing an assist for

Canales

and scoring Betico’s late equalizer.

Thanks to his 92

nd

goal, Joaquin has now become the fourth oldest footballer to score an official La Liga goal, as well as becoming the player with the longest time elapsed between his first and last goal in the Primera Division, 19 years and 136 days.
