I'll do anything to find my place, says Grosicki

Former Hull City player finds it hard to have regular playing time in the Premier League.

Kamil Grosicki

first joined Hull City from Rennes to help them stay in the Premier League. They were not successful but Grosicki became a popular player among Hull City fans and known in England. Last January he joined

West Brom

and helped them in their promotion to the Premier League.

He has not got much chance to play for the Baggies this year but he is determined to find back his place.

He said:

“I have to perform regularly at the club and be in shape. I’ll do anything to make it happen. I talked to manager Brzęczek and he believes in me, despite the current problems I have at the club. That’s why I don’t want to disappoint him”.

With the 2022 World Cup being his final big competition as an international, considering he’s already 32, Grosicki is prepared to take certain steps to ensure he remains available over the next couple of years.

He added:

“This is my dream and I will do everything to make it come true. I don’t think it matters how old you are, but what you show on the pitch. I feel very good physically, maybe also because I was avoiding injuries. You can still play for the national team at the age of 34-35.

“The priority for now is winning a place in the West Brom squad and every day I am fighting to improve my situation and I believe my time will come for this club. If it fails, I will make the decision in January to regularly play on the pitch and prepare for the WorldCup qualifying matches and Euro finals”.
