Jared Borgetti

Currently working as a commentator for ESPN Deportes and ESPN Mexico, Jared Borgetti is a prolific goal scorer at both club and national level. Borgetti, one of the best football players of all time, was able to score 46 goals in the Mexico national team and became the second leading goal-scorer right after Javier Hernandez.

This legendry striker started very young with Atlas in Primera Division de Mexico in 1994. He signed with Santos Laguna after spending two successful seasons with the Atlas. In Santos Laguna, he claimed three golden boot titles for most season goals and won two league championships.

In 2005, he signed a two-year deal contract with club Bolton Wanderers and became the first Mexican who played for an English club. After two years, when he was released from his contract, he joined the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.

In 2009 he signed up with Guadalajara and then was brought to play in the 2009 Copa Libertadores. As a footballer, Jared Borgetti's dream was to play in a team where all the players were Mexican born and to be on a team with the most championships in the Primera Division. He also played with Puebla FC, Monarcas Morelia, and Leon FC.

As for his international career as one of the best soccer players of all time, his first international game was against Ecuador in 1997. He also appeared in the 2001 Copa America, the 2002 World Cup, and the 2004 Copa America. His most successful contribution happened during the tournament of 2005 FIFA Confederation Cup.
