Neville urges Inter Miami to bounce back from harsh lesson by Toronto

David Beckham-owned MLS franchise suffered a second straight MLS defeat against Toronto on Sunday. Phil Neville admits his squad needs to learn fast if they want to challenge the MLS trophy this season.

After a 1-0 defeat to New York City last week, Inter Miami suffered a second consecutive defeat to Toronto on Sunday as they are sitting seventh in the Eastern Conference table after four games.

The Herons boss wants his players to learn from the setback. He told his post-match interview: "This is the next stage of our development...We need to learn very fast, particularly in the MLS where away games are brutally tough, and you cannot make individual errors.”

After winning their two opening league games against Montreal and Philadelphia, Inter Miami suffered two consecutive defeats in hands of New York City and Toronto.

Inter Miami sits four points behind the table leaders Atlanta United. They will host Chicago Fire next weekend who sit at the bottom of the conference league without a victory, a perfect occasion for David Beckham's side to get back to winning ways.
