Saudi Investment Fund’s desire to sign Liverpool’s goalkeeper
Strong moves from Roshan League clubs to renew the ranks of Saudi football and European competition
Journalistic reports revealed on Monday evening, the desire of the Saudi Investment Fund to strike a deal with one of the stars of Liverpool Club during the upcoming summer transfer period.
The upcoming summer transfer market is expected to witness strong movement from Roshan League clubs, as many of them seek to contract with a number of distinguished players in order to enhance the level of Saudi football and compete in major European championships.
According to what the Italian journalist Rudi Galetti mentioned through his official account on the “X” social networking site, the Saudi Investment Fund intends to contract with Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker, a star of Liverpool in the summer of 2024.
Galetti explained: “The investment fund seeks to obtain the services of a world-class goalkeeper, and for this reason, Alisson Becker has become one of its main targets for the next season.”
He confirmed: “We are in the process of preparing a huge contract, with the aim of convincing the Brazilian goalkeeper to join the Saudi League.”
The Italian journalist, who has extensive experience in the field of transfers, did not specify the club that will conduct official negotiations with Alisson Becker.
It seems that Becker is not the only target of the Investment Fund from Liverpool, as the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is considered one of the most prominent candidates to move to one of the Roshan League clubs.
