In the 24th round of the Egyptian League, two matches ended in a draw on Monday, where Zed Club drew with its guest, Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club, without goals in an exciting match at Cairo Stadium.

During the match, the player Ahmed Atef, nicknamed “Cat”, scored a goal for Zed Club, but the referee Hamada El-Qalawi canceled the goal for offside.

With this result, Zed Club was able to raise its balance to 37 points to occupy the third place in the standings, led by its technical director Magdy Abdel Aati, and it is worth mentioning that he has a postponed match against Zamalek Club.

As for the team of Al-Ittihad Club led by its coach Tarek El-Ashry, its balance has risen to 36 points to occupy the fourth place in the Egyptian League.

And at Osman Ahmed Osman Stadium in Cairo, Varko Club drew with the Contractors Club with a goal for each of them in the dying time, within the same round.

During the match, the player Amir Abed opened the scoring for the Contractors from a penalty kick in the 41st minute, before Amr Nasser equalized for Varko from another penalty kick in the 86th minute.

With this result, the Contractors’ balance rose to 16 points in the penultimate position, led by its technical director Mu’tamad Jamal, and he has two postponed matches against Al-Ahly and Zamalek.

As for the Varko team led by its technical director Ahmed Khattab, it has raised its balance to 20 points in the fifteenth place, and it also awaits two postponed matches against Al-Ahly and Zamalek.
