Thorgan Hazard was left out of Dortmund squad for his poor performance.

Borussia Dortmund’s

Belgian player

Thorgan Hazard

was left out of their squad for their Bundesliga clash against

Union Berlin

The Belgium international didn’t travel to Berlin with the squad, and after their 3-0 victory over Union Berlin, Borussia Dortmund’s boss

Marco Rose

has talked about Hazard’s absence revealing that the player was left out of the squad because of sporting reasons as they preferred to use the players who had shown better performances in training.

“I simply discussed with the coaching team which squad we should take with us. We decided on the guys who imposed themselves in training during the week.”

Hazard has played 22 games for his side scoring five goals and assisting on,e and his last appearance was in their Bundesliga clash against Bayer Leverkusen, which ended in a 5-2 defeat for them, and the 28-year-old was substituted in the 60th minute of the game.
